Signe Cooper

Counselor - Coastal Camp - 2024

Growing up with many siblings who attended camp and came back with countless stories and songs, Signe herself only attended camp once as a child. While traveling in the United Kingdom one summer, Signe learned of a wonderful camp through a friend and decided to join as part of the kitchen staff. The experience of working in that unique and wonderful environment inspired her to seek out similar experiences in the US, leading her to become a counselor at the Coastal Camp in 2024.

Signe is originally from Chicago but spent her adolescence and young adulthood in New Hampshire and New York, finally settling down in Asheville, North Carolina, where she will be a freshman at the University of North Carolina Asheville in the fall. In her free time, Signe loves playing music with friends and family and enjoys traveling, exploring, discovering beautiful places, and meeting new people.
