ADVENTURE  CAMPS

Welcome!

This summer, we’re thrilled to offer three incredible Adventure Camps — one for high schoolers and two for grade schoolers. Whether you're a seasoned camper or completely new to the outdoors, everyone is welcome to join the fun!

At Adventure Camps, we’re all about creating a community where every camper feels included and inspired. Each camp is brought to life by a passionate team of young adults, guided by experienced outdoor leaders and former campers who know how to make every moment safe, exciting, and memorable.

What makes us special? It’s the intentional community we build — where friendships flourish, confidence grows, and adventures turn into lifelong memories.

I have a conviction that a few weeks spent in a well-organized summer camp may be of more value educationally than a whole year of formal school work.
— Charles William Eliot (president of Harvard University from 1869 to 1909)

Explore Our Camps

Our children’s camps offer the perfect mix of adventure, fun, and a supportive community, where campers can grow, explore, and build lasting friendships. Whether they’re discovering a new activity for the first time or deepening their love for the outdoors, each day is filled with opportunities for personal growth, teamwork, and joy.

Daily rhythms give camp its heartbeat, from morning and evening assemblies to group activities and beloved camp traditions. Every year, each camp features a unique theme that we focus on and hear about daily. We balance moments of togetherness — sharing meals, singing, and coming together as a whole camp at assemblies and all camp activities — with the intimacy of smaller group time, where campers connect with peers their age and form close bonds.

All 3rd-8th graders are welcome at Camp Greenwood Lake, set in a classic camp setting in Danbury, WI, where cabins and a pristine lake create the perfect backdrop for our eleven nights filled with singing, swimming, paddleboarding, exploring, and sharing in the joy of community.

All 4th-8th graders are invited to Coastal Camp, where we set up base camp in the sandy forests of the historic Cape Henlopen State Park—just steps from the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Join us for nine nights of kite flying, swimming in the ocean, exploring historic landmarks, playing games, singing, and so much more!

At both camps, campers gain confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging. They return home not only with unforgettable memories but also with strengthened friendships, new skills, a deeper connection to nature, and a greater appreciation for themselves and the world around them.

Our High School Canoe Camp invites teens into a shared adventure where everyone plays a role in making camp possible. From paddling together on the river to setting up camp and cooking meals, we function as one team, learning firsthand how collaboration, responsibility, and leadership emerge through shared effort. This experience offers a glimpse into what working together as adults can look like—where leadership isn’t about authority, but about showing up, supporting others, and contributing to the whole.

For ten nights, we journey down the winding Namekagon River, moving at a pace that allows us to take in the beauty around us. Days are spent meandering through its many bends, talking with our canoe partners, sharing moments with nearby boats, and taking breaks to swim and snack. Late afternoons and evenings bring free time, songs, conversations around the fire, reflection under the stars, and a sense of camaraderie that builds with each passing day. While some moments require energy and focus, like packing up camp, setting up shelter, and preparing meals, the overall rhythm of the camp invites connection, self-discovery, and an appreciation for the simple joys of working, learning, and growing together.

Teens leave not just with memories, but with strengthened confidence, communication skills, self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be part of a team.

Time and time again, we hear from participants and parents alike about the deep, lasting bonds formed at Canoe Camp. Something about life on the river — working side by side, sharing meals, and spending days immersed in nature — creates space for real, unfiltered conversations. As one camper put it, “We skip the small talk and go straight to the questions that matter”.

CORE VALUES

Let’s have an Adventure!

Even saying the word is exciting—adventure! But what does it take to be an adventurer?

It takes a willingness to try something new, to explore places you’ve never been, and to meet new people. It means showing up as your true self in ways you might not at school or home. And just as important, adventure is about taking care of one another—working together, showing respect, and appreciating all that we are given.

When parents send their children to Adventure Camps, they can trust that their child will be well-fed, cared for, and yes, even reminded to brush their teeth! But beyond that, campers will be heard, supported, and safely guided through experiences like backpacking, beach camping, canoeing, and exploring the woods. Adventurers return home not just with great stories, but with newfound confidence, deeper friendships, and a greater capacity to love.
