Rev. Matthias Giles grew up in Ohio Amish country, where he developed a deep appreciation for nature and the rhythms of rural life—something he loves reconnecting with at camp. Passionate about building meaningful connections and fostering a strong sense of community, he brings warmth, guidance, and a spirit of adventure.

Since 2019, Matthias has served as a priest of The Christian Community, carrying a lifelong commitment to supporting others on their journeys of personal growth. He finds joy in helping campers discover purpose, build confidence, and deepen their connection to the world around them. For all these reasons, Matthias is always excited to be a part of the camps.
