Josie Crookston

Josie is an artist and musician living in New York City, currently pursuing a fine arts degree at the Cooper Union. As an artist, they work in many mediums, including wood, metal, fiber, and culinary arts. Alongside her artistic practice, Josie is a songwriter and band member in several groups in New York, weaving together musical and visual arts into their practice as a whole.

Growing up in Ithaca, New York, Josie has a strong connection to nature and enjoys long hikes and bike rides when she’s able to leave the city. Josie is an avid home cook and is very excited to join us in the kitchen at Coastal Camp this summer.
