Ann is passionate about creating safe, fun, and enriching summer camp experiences for children and teens. As a former director of many of our camps and the founder of our beloved Canoe Camp, she remains deeply committed to supporting a strong, collaborative community that keeps Adventure Camps thriving. For Ann, camp is more than just a place—it’s a space for connection, growth, belonging, and the kind of good, hard work that shapes lifelong memories.

A lifelong Adventurer, Ann has biked solo across the country, spent two years in the Andes Mountains with the Peace Corps, and guided a Waldorf class from grades 1–8. Ordained as a priest in the Christian Community in 2012, having served the communities in Chicago, Vancouver, and most recently, Seattle, until March 2024. Ann now works with social initiatives dedicated to serving underserved communities, continuing her commitment to fostering spaces where people feel seen, valued, and at home.
